Trekker's Oats were born out of necessity. Sean, and avid outdoorsman, needed a breakfast that was filling but not heavy, and easy to prepare with minimal equipment or time, while still delicious. Amelia got to work and found the perfect solution to this breakfast dilemma. The blend of rolled oats, oat bran, flax, nuts, and superberries worked magic on all of Sean's excursions there on out! We decided everyone should benefit from a breakfast this convenient, while providing a delicious boost of energy, without the crash.
WHAT MAKES OUR TREKKING OATS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER READY OATS?
Organic and gluten free rolled oats- While we do not produce in a gluten-free facility, our products are all free of gluten.
Extra delicious, without refined sugar- we naturally sweeten our oats with flavor packed dried fruit and a smidgen of maple crystals.
Extra fiber, protein and fats for lasting satiety- Gluten free rolled oats, oat bran, cold milled flax, and nuts provide lasting satiety reduce glycemic load.
*For extra nutrient absorption and digestibility, we recommend soaking oats overnight in just enough water to cover. The next morning, pour in milk or hot water before serving.
Organic blend of rolled oats, oat bran, and other nutritious add-ins
Each ingredient has a purpose, tested and proven to keep you satisfied and energized for whatever your day has in store for you. A hint of maple, dried mulberries and lucuma powder for minerals and initial energy boost. Rolled oats are combined with oat bran, flax, and nuts for protein and sustained, slow release energy. We use Ceylon (a.k.a. "real") cinnamon for antioxidants and blood sugar control, as well as a pinch of Himalayan salt for electrolytes. We source only organic ingredients and always look for the most sustainable and local producers.
